Mahlon Fisher
Owner / Consultant
Mahlon is the owner and primary consultant and trainer for Computer Bookkeeping Solutions. He believes God has prepared him for business consulting by uniquely weaving together his farm upbringing, hands-on work experience in previous business enterprises, and love of the Truth. In July of 2002 Mahlon acquired ownership of Computer Bookkeeping Solutions, applying technology and best practices to accounting and business management. He is a member of the National Advisor Network and has completed the course of study to be a Certified QuickBooks® ProAdvisor and Certified Method Solution Provider.
When he was younger, Mahlon worked in diesel mechanics and on small engines. For several years he was an industrialist, designing and fabricating custom trailers. Finding inventive solutions requires creativity and perseverance, which he now applies to devising solutions to his clients’ business dilemmas. Mahlon’s personal business ventures equip him to understand the struggles of owning and maintaining a business.
His focus turned from engineering to bookkeeping when he joined Gehman Accounting in 1999 to assist clients with QuickBooks® setup and training. After directing CBS as a separate division within Gehman Accounting for several years, Mahlon acquired ownership in 2002. He continued its existing services and develops new services to enhance clients’ accounting and business processes.
He attended private school through his early education and then worked independently toward his diploma. The need for continued education has taken him to many seminars, conferences and webinars that advance his professional training. He enjoys teaching in his local church and time with his wife and eleven children. Mahlon appreciates outdoor pursuits like gardening, camping, and dutch oven cooking or grilling.
